Tips for Tuesday

Today’s beading tips were provided by Candy Tutt.

1. When I do a ‘bead picture’ with seed beads, I first draw the image on card stock in Prismacolor pencil. This way I can reproduce both the image and the colors accurately. (little grids with symbols in each square drive me nuts!)

2. Instead of lugging hanks of beads around, or losing tiny beads in my wallet when I go shopping to match colors or patterns – I string about an inch of what I already have onto a piece of lightweight wire, twist the ends together, and put it in my fanny pack.

3. Yet another use for masking tape: Getting the CAT HAIR out of finished peyote (or any pattern) bead project!
